How does Bump Match work?
Swipe right on names you love, left on names you don’t. When you and your partner both like the same name, it’s a match!
How do I connect with my partner?
Go to Partner Settings and share your invite code. Your partner enters this code in their app to link your accounts.
Can I save names I like more than others?
Yes. You can favourite names that stand out, so they’re easy to find again later. Just tap the star in the top left corner, and it will be added to your favs.
Can I see all the names I’ve liked?
Yes. You can review your liked list any time, so no good name gets lost in the baby-name scroll.
Can I change my liked names?
Yes! Visit your Liked Names list from the menu to review and remove any names you’ve previously liked.
How do I delete my account?
Go to your Profile page and tap “Delete Account” at the bottom to permanently delete your account and all associated data
Is Bump Match a dating app?
Nope! It just borrows the fun of swiping and matching… But for baby names. Instead of finding a romantic match, you’re finding the name you’ll both fall for.
What is a reveal date?
Your reveal date is the day you choose to see your matches together. Until then, you and your partner can swipe separately without seeing which names you both liked.
Can I filter baby names?
Yes. You can filter names by boy, girl or neutral, as well as by language and origin. You can also explore trending and celebrity names.
Can I use Bump Match if I already have a favourite name?
Of course! You can save your favourite name and keep swiping to see if there are any others you and your partner both love. It’s also a handy way to find a back-up name.
Does Bump Match share my baby-name list with my partner?
Your partner will only see the names you both matched on when your reveal date arrives.
What if we don’t match on any names?
Then it might be time for another round of swiping! You can keep exploring names, updating your favourites and trying again until something clicks.
